“If you understand how a Home is Built, you know how to fix one” is a phrase you will often hear ABS Diagnostics LLC., President and Founder Mark Hopman say.
In 1985, while seeking a degree in Engineering at the University of Illinois, Mark followed his passion for construction and started working in the field. It didn’t take long for him to observe that many new construction and renovated properties were poorly engineered and crafted.
“While building houses in the 1980s, I noticed there weren’t many options for people who needed help with structural repairs or renovations on their current homes.” Mark says.
His desire to help both residential and commercial property owners in their time of need led Mark to follow his passion and start ABS Diagnostics LLC.

Mark and his team of highly knowledgeable, experienced, and skilled professionals work with homeowners, buyers, sellers, realtors, attorneys, and commercial property managers to diagnose, and do the repair work needed to restore properties back to structural soundness.
Our goal is to make a property as good if not better than when it was first built, no matter the age of the structure. Through training, education, and Mark’s hands on guidance, our team has no equal in the industry.
